Hi fellow foodies,

My name is Eric, and I’m on the pursuit of food perfection (oh hey, that’s the name of this blog!)

My passion for food is only surpassed by my love of sharing food and helping others discover great food. This passion has taken me from Australia to Hong Kong to Japan to Spain and many more.

For my last meal on earth, you’ll find me at the stunningly beautiful hinoki counter (made from a single 400-year-old Japanese cypress tree) being served by one of the best sushi artisans in the world at Sushidokoro Mekumi…and if time permitting, Kataori right after.

However, that’s only the story so far. The thing about perfection is, you will never actually reach it. But if you chase perfection, you often will find excellence.

And so the journey continues. Join me on my pursuit.
